Refractory properties and non-metallic expansion joint materials

Refractory materials refer to inorganic non-metallic materials with a refractoriness of not less than 1580℃.It includes ore and various products made by the process required by the purpose. It has high temperature mechanical properties and good volume stability.
The refractory industry is an important basic industry serving high temperature technology, and it is particularly closely related to the steel industry. The new development of high-temperature industry, especially steel smelting technology, has led to technological progress in the refractory industry. The technological progress of the refractory industry has led to the implementation of the high temperature industry. The stable production, high yield and longevity of various kilns in the iron and steel industry are inseparable from refractory materials. Due to different uses and conditions of use, various kilns have different requirements for the refractory materials that make up their main body, and different types of refractory materials also show different basic characteristics due to differences in chemical composition, microstructure and production processes. Therefore, to understand the refractory materials used in industrial kilns, it is necessary to understand the basic properties of refractory materials. On this basis, refractory materials for blast furnaces and hot air furnaces are introduced.
The main material of the non-metallic expansion joint is silicone and fiber fabric. The main material can withstand 250 degrees, and the high temperature of 1300 degrees can be withstand after reducing the diameter. Since the material is prone to aging after bearing the temperature, from a long-term perspective, such as cement and steel high-temperature pipelines, it is recommended to choose stainless steel high-temperature expansion joints.
The diversion tube is suitable for all expansion joints, and the diversion tube is used when the following conditions exist:
1.When the pressure drops to a low limit and the medium needs a calm and stable flow.
2.When the countercurrent and flow direction of the medium change due to the eddy current of the medium inside the expansion joint.
3.When it is necessary to protect the bellows from the medium carrying abrasives such as catalysts or mud.
4.For high temperature applications, when the bellows are not affected by temperature.Because the diversion tube is the protective barrier between the medium and the bellows.
5.When applied to air, steam and other gaseous gases.
6.When applied to water and other liquids.
Inside the diversion tube, the pressure drops. Yes, it should be that the medium flow is temporarily contracted into a neck shape, and then it returns to the starting part of the tube almost immediately. If the flow direction is vertically upward when the expansion joint is installed, the diversion cylinder can restrict the liquid.
